Eligibility Criteria
You can apply for the Rhodes Global Scholarships 2026 if you:
- Are not eligible under any existing Rhodes constituencies
- Are aged between 18–24 on 1 October 2025 (or under 27 with recent degree completion)
- Have or will complete a Bachelor’s degree with academic excellence (First Class Honours or 3.7 GPA recommended)
- Meet the English language requirements set by Oxford
- Are nominated by your institution (self-nomination is not allowed)
What Does the Rhodes Global Scholarships Cover?
According to the Conditions of Tenure , the scholarship includes:
- Full tuition fees
- Annual stipend for living expenses
- Economy class airfare to Oxford and return
- Funding for at least two years of full-time postgraduate study
- A possible third year of funding for DPhil (PhD) candidates

- Request Nomination from your university via the online form
- Complete the Eligibility Check before 29 July 2025
- Prepare your Application Documents, including:
- CV (in form template)
- Academic transcript
- English test results or waiver letter
- Four references (3 academic, 1 character)
- 1000-word Personal Statement
- 350-word Academic Statement

What Can You Study?
Rhodes Scholars can pursue any full-time graduate course at Oxford, such as:
- MPhil, MSc, BCL, MSt, MBA (in 2nd year only), or DPhil
- Two one-year Master’s programs (with some exceptions)
- A Second BA with Senior Status

Final Interview and Selection
If shortlisted, you’ll attend a mandatory interview and social event at Rhodes House in Oxford on 30–31 October 2025. Travel support may be available for international candidates who cannot afford the cost.
